In addition to working with students, I also focused on supporting The Young Mothers in the community. These women are determined to create better lives for themselves and their children, and I wanted to offer them the resources they need to do just that through training programs, mentorship, and access to childcare support.
I aim to empower young mothers with the skills and opportunities to achieve financial independence. By providing this support, I hope to foster resilience and help them build sustainable livelihoods.
For me, humanitarian work goes beyond simply offering aid. It’s about empowering individuals to rise, to thrive, and to have the tools they need to create positive change in their lives. Humanity’s true strength lies in our ability to uplift each other, and my work is rooted in this belief. This visit to Uganda was a powerful reminder of why I do this work. I am grateful for the chance to make a difference and to be inspired by the communities I serve. Together, we can create a world where everyone has the opportunity to flourish.
I want to thank HER ROYAL HIGHNESS Queen Maria Amor for allowing me to be of service to the Country of Uganda, and special thanks to the WCH Uganda Director, Jerom Bukima, for inviting me and all the beautiful and kindhearted individuals in Uganda for their kind welcome and hospitality throughout my entire trip. My experience in Uganda was a testament to the resilience and strength of our global communities commitment to humanity.
I left feeling more committed than ever to advancing projects that empower and uplift, and hopeful for what we can achieve together.
